...and their evil plan for world domination.
I hate insurance companies. They sit around and make you do everything including kiss their goddamn ring just to tell you that they won't cover you.
It's like a fucking conspiracy, especially in this part of the country. I had to move the MDMF to a different venue because insurance companies hear the word "metal" or "rock", and they run screaming. You'd think that they would WANT to cover it...I mean, they could charge outrageous amounts and get it since there are a lot of places around here that require Promoters to have it. You would think that they would WANT our money. But no...they're plan is more insidious than that...they want to stop metal and rock shows in the midwest.
Thanks to a few people who own clubs in the area, that won't happen. Tom Riehle and I don't always agree as far as our ideologies go, but I gotta give him props for letting me come in there at the last minute and book his buildings. He really saved my ass from having to find an empty field somewhere.
So, what can be done about it? I'm still not sure. I've had a hate thing going on for insurance companies for a long time for being over-priced and weak when it comes to needing them. Our government embraces them and makes them necessary to even keep your driver's license. If anybody has any ideas to combat the insurance companies in a constructive fashion...feel free to post it here.

Pft. Its as bad when you're applying for workman's comp or anything else. When I first moved here I tried to get food stamps.I could hav starved to death by the time they actually got here. U ntil then I was living off fifty dollars a week including paying my rent. It was NOT fun, and when I was finally accepted I got a whopping two hundred forty a month for food. Which I didnt need anymore because I was pulling down a steady job.
The workmans' comp...lets just say that J FINALLY qualifies for it...AND he's going back to work today.
can we say, a little Late???

I'd love to be a paramedic assigned to a crash one time with one of those people's loved ones in it. I'd show up an hour too late after they'd died. *snort*

I would...lol....
