Ok...now most of you know my beliefs...I don't care for mainstream organized religion...and I don't like Billy Graham or his daughter. BUT, they do make a good point here, and I've always been willing to defend ANYONE'S RIGHT to believe as they wish, since I believe that religion is and should be a personal thing.
But it comes down to core beliefs and morals....while I don't go to church and I don't preach my beliefs in the streets, we all can agree that people need to have a "moral center"...unwritten lines that shouldn't be crossed. We know it's not cool to kill each other without a good reason, we know that we shouldn't steal from each other, we know that we shouldn't lie...
The coolest line from the Bible is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"...or from the Wiccan faith, "Do what thou wilt, save that you harm no one". This is a widespread general belief in all societies and in most religions.
But now we're being taught that if you're offended, you can infringe on other people's rights. The PC Police have made it so that everyone lives in fear of what everyone else thinks...and that is wrong...
Now we're taught "Don't offend anyone..." and that's crap, because dammit, I like offending people!

If you live your life you're going to offend someone just by being there. I know I do ;D The golden rule is golden because every religion (barring satanism which says do as you wilt, and hurt anyone you have to to get there) has some version of it within its tomes. And its a good rule to live by. You want to marry someone fine, you want to Follow a code of ethics, fine. As long as you arent out raping, pilliging, and murdering, fine, do what you want.
