hehehe...I saw this billboard on US 30 as I was leaving Iowa into Illinois...jet black, with "6+6+6...the signs are all around us"...
I thought it was some kind of religious fervor over the upcoming day of doom...and I was going to make a mockup of the billboard and rant a little about it...well, I'm still gonna make a mockup of the billboard because it's cool...but alas, this is Hollywood's idea of a movie ad...dorks.
Yeah, they're remaking The Omen...I'm not sure how I feel about that. I've seen the trailer, and I think the kid playing Damien isn't as creepy...this movie will also star Julia Stiles...can you say, Puh-leeze?
I'm so tired of remakes, or "re-imagining" as they like to call it these days. I'll tell you what...why don't I "re-imagine" a Hollywood that put out cool fucking movies instead of re-hashing the same old bullshit time after time.
Why can't Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) do his sequel to Fletch? I'll tell you why...it's because some hollywood execs are too busy throwing money at the "Dallas" movie or "The Pukes of Hazzard II--Still Puking"...assmops.
These cocksmokers whine daily with their music industry shartnoses that "downloaders are ruining us...people aren't going to movies or buying CD's because they download them..."
HELL-OOOO...FUCKER. The reason people aren't buying CD's is BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T HAD ANY ORIGINAL IDEAS and bands like The White Stripes SUCK RICHARD CHRISTIE'S ANUS HAIRS! Also...HELL-O AGAIN...have you seen movie ticket prices lately? I'm not forking over $50 to watch a movie when I can get it for nearly nothing at Blockbuster...and pop my own fucking popcorn and do my Mystery Science Theater impressions during stupid moments in the films...and start the movie, pause it for crap, piss or fuck breaks whenever I want...meheheheh!
The new MI:III looks like it'll be cool...and there are some very good movies out now that I wanna see...and I was hoping that this trend of remaking the old greats would die a painful and terrifying death...but it's not going to end, is it? I'm going to have to suffer through watching all of my childhood and teenage favorites being remade into shit...it's like The Amityville Horror...shit. I think Van Wilder (Ryan Reynolds) is great, but that movie was just crap.
*sigh*
look for the remake of Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas or Stripes coming soon...featuring some MTV-friendly fucksticks...grrr....
